Step 1: Contact our volunteer department.
Step 2: Attend volunteer orientation.
At orientation, we'll introduce you to the Aquarium, share job descriptions, provide basic training and take you on a tour of the Aquarium. You'll also get an opportunity to ask questions of available staff. Look for upcoming orientation dates >>
Step 3: A few weeks after orientation, someone will contact you regarding a phone interview or to schedule your first shift.

The South Carolina Aquarium is pleased to announce a wonderful volunteer opportunity for teenagers ages 13, 14 and 15. Teenagers and their parents are invited to apply to this program working as Exhibit Guides in the Education Department.
Exhibit Guides work in the galleries and the Touch Tank interpreting our exhibits for our visitors. These volunteers convey the theme of the Aquarium with special emphasis on education and conservation.
