We have a new and expanded Touch Tank with Stingray Touch Pool!
Our Touch Tank allows visitors not only to see, but also to Touch Tanktouch a variety of live invertebrates (animals without backbones) found along the coast of South Carolina, such as hermit crabs, whelks, Horseshoe Crabsea urchins, horseshoe crabs, as well as Atlantic stingrays and more!

Hermit CrabAquarium staff and volunteers are on hand to help you learn all about these animals and understand the life in the Atlantic Ocean.
A videoscope display gives a magnified view of some of the animals, and a collection of shells and fossils.
