What do rainbow trout eat?
Rainbow trout live in the fresh water of inland rivers and streams.
The color of a rainbow trout acts as camouflage; the rainbow
trout is dark with spots and cannot easily be seen in swift
moving water. An animal resting on the water's surface would
not see a rainbow trout charging towards it. Which of these
choices might be found resting on the surface of a stream or
lake? Would a rainbow trout eat baby sea turtles, spider crabs,
dragonflies, menhaden, and berries? Click on the buttons to
the right to make guesses. |
