Volunteers are an important part of Aquarium staff. Aquarium volunteers instill a sense of wonder, knowledge, respect and stewardship in our guests about the aquatic world around us. They work side-by-side with paid staff, keeping our guests happy and our animals and plants healthy. The South Carolina Aquarium is incredibly lucky to have such wonderful volunteers contributing to every department in the Aquarium. South Carolina Aquarium volunteers are a passionate, committed group of people who truly make a difference!
