Flat SamBeing a very curious lemur, Sam loves to travel, explore and learn! Since his volunteer job is a full time gig here at the Aquarium, he might not get to travel as much as he would like over the next few years… but that's ok, you can help. Take Flat Sam with you on your adventures! Print, color and cut him out, then take him on your next trip to the grocery store, dentist, Grandma's, family vacation or even backyard. Take a photo of you and Flat Sam exploring, and email the photo and what you learned to publicrelations@scaquarium.org. Become a Volunteer Like Sam!Our Volunteer Program is comprised of over 350 diverse, enthusiastic individuals working in various roles. Like Sam, our volunteers help behind the scenes, making food for the animals or cleaning exhibits; they help on the floor, acting as docents and speaking about the exhibits; and they dive in our tanks, performing daily dive shows for guests.
