The South Carolina Aquarium is a 501(c)-3 non-profit organization. We receive the majority of our funding with much thanks from our donors, members and state and federal grants. (basically some blurb about our support with a link to "suport the aquarium" section)
Our Mission:
“To educate and conserve the natural environment of
South Carolina and educate those around us in how they can contribute. ”

The South Carolina is staffed by roughly 85 full time staff and over 400 volunteers in various areas of service, from education and husbnadry to marketing and institutional advencement.
